API-first end-to-end test

A test that represents a complete business journey through its API interactions. The journey may be captured from real user behavior and then executed directly at the API layer.

Droid CUA

Loadmill's computer-using agent for mobile and web testing. Droid interprets the visible interface and follows natural-language instructions to perform and validate a user journey.

Flow

An ordered set of steps that represents one test scenario inside a Loadmill test suite.

Hybrid test

A flow that combines API steps with browser UI steps. API steps commonly prepare or validate state, while Playwright or UI Agent steps validate visible behavior.

Load test

A scenario executed with configured concurrency or request rate to measure performance and reliability under traffic.

Parameter

A named value available to test steps. Parameters can be provided before a run, extracted from responses, generated by functions, or loaded from a data set.

Playwright step

A Test Editor step containing Playwright code for browser interaction and validation.

Request step

A Test Editor step that sends an HTTP request and can extract or assert values from the response.

Test plan

A collection of test suites and run settings used to execute a broader test program, often from CI or on a schedule.

Test suite

A collection of related test flows, shared parameters, authentication behavior, hooks, and execution settings.

UI Agent step

A Test Editor step that describes a browser goal and its validation in natural language. The agent interprets the visible page and performs actions to complete the goal.
